Our faculty research, teach and write about history in Britain, Europe and across the globe. This means you’ll be supervised by leading practitioners in your field.
We welcome research proposals in all aspects of:
early modern and modern European history
British history since 1500
American history
digital history
global history
the history of science and the environment
the history of North Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
We understand that deciding where and what to study is a very important decision. We’ll make all reasonable efforts to provide you with the courses, services and facilities described in this prospectus.
