Our three-year financial technology degree will help you to develop the skills you need to become an accountant or work in the finance industry. Develop practical skills through programming and software development as well as technical knowledge by understanding the fundamentals of finance and accounting.

Assessment method

Modules on the BSc (Hons) Financial Technology programme are assessed through a balanced mix of coursework, practical projects, and examinations. You’ll complete individual and group assignments that reflect real-world challenges—such as coding tasks, data analysis reports, financial case studies, and software development projects. GCSE English (desirable): English Language grade 4 or above is desirable. Key Skills Level 2, Functional Skills Level 2 and the Certificate in Adult Literacy are accepted in place of GCSEs.

International qualifications: International qualifications will be assessed against these criteria

IELTS: IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any component.
