Assessment method

You'll start this course by developing the knowledge you already have, and gaining a broad understanding of business and organisational management.

We’ll then focus on specialist supply chain knowledge and skills. We’ll cover practical aspects of moving freight from A to B such as geography, trade routes, and physical distribution and collaboration between supply chain partners, as well as broader influences including international relations and sustainability.

Finally, you’ll demonstrate your learning by completing a major research project on a relevant topic of your choice.

Typical qualification requirements

GCSE/National 4/National 5

5 GCSEs at grade D, or grade 3, or above and evidence of two years post-GCSE study at Level 3.

If you have achieved at least grade E in one A level, or equivalent, you are exempt from the two years post-GCSE study requirement, but you still must meet the GCSE requirements.

If English is not your first language you will be expected to demonstrate a certificated level of proficiency of at least IELTS 5.5 (Academic level) or equivalent English Language qualification, as recognised by Anglia Ruskin University.
