Our four-year MComp programme enables you to develop master’s level knowledge and skills in the tools, techniques and underpinning theories that make science and technology innovative and exciting. You will develop core computational problem-solving and programming skills, building on these progressively throughout the programme.

From artificial intelligence and machine learning to computer graphics, animation and software engineering, as you progress, you'll explore current and emerging areas of Computer Science. In your final year, you will undertake a significant programming, research or business problem within the discipline. This will provide you with the advanced research, communication and problem-solving skills needed to work in industry or research.

Employability is embedded throughout your studies, from dedicated professional development sessions and industry guest lectures to tailored careers support. The programme also includes the option to enhance your experience through either a flexible-short or year-long industry placement.
