Enhance your understanding of education and teaching with our Postgraduate Certificate in Education (Reflective Practice) top-up course.

Offered by the University of Reading’s Institute of Education, this programme is designed for both primary and secondary school teachers who already hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or are working towards the qualification.

Entry requirements

IELTS: 6.5 overall with no element less than 5.5 (or equivalent).

Entry requirements: This programme is for either primary or secondary school teachers who already have QTS or are working towards QTS.

Pre-sessional English language programme

If you need to improve your English language score, you can take a pre-sessional English course prior to entry onto your degree.

New UK/Republic of Ireland students: The fee for 2026/27 is not yet available. For the 2025/26 entry, the fee was £1,540.
