Course summary

You’ll study a broad range of topics including marketing, HR, finance, small business management, and innovation. A unique feature of the course is the focus on e-commerce and social media for business. Learning is delivered through a blend of online and face-to-face sessions.

Year 1 (HNC): Business Environment, Marketing, HR Management, Leadership, Accounting Principles, Innovation, Business Project (Pearson-set).
Year 2 (HND): Brand Management, Marketing Analytics, Team Development, E-Commerce Strategy, Organisational Behaviour, Research Project (Pearson-set), Social Media Campaigns.

UCAS Tariff: 32 points. Typical qualifications include 1 A Level at grade C,
BTEC Extended Diploma (PPP), or Access to HE (P45). You’ll also need 2 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths. Level 2 equivalents are
accepted. Applicants with relevant experience or professional qualifications are encouraged to apply.

You can progress directly into employment in business, management, or the public sector, or continue your studies by completing a full Honours degree at university.

Delivered through lectures, workshops, tutorials, and blended learning. Assessment includes coursework, group discussions, presentations, and two Pearson-set assignments (one per year).
