Do you want to bring game development teams together and create technologically innovative experiences?

That is the fundamental role of a game development production designer. You’ll integrate individuals with complex and diverse skillsets in areas such as art and programming. You will be the key link between gameplay, combat, level design and VFX (visual effects). Creating games is a complex process, but our Games Development (Production) course will help you progress through your degree to shape the pathway you want in this field.

Our Games courses share a Common First Year. That will give you a thorough understanding of the game development process, before discovering what is possible with your specialism in later years. You’ll explore areas including prototyping with game engines, advanced technologies and innovative interface systems. As a graduate, you’ll have in-demand skills in a truly global sector.

Entry is also possible from the Engineering Foundation Year. To progress onto this course from the Foundation Year you must pass all modules and achieve an average mark of 40% or above.
