The Higher National Qualification framework provides students with the necessary skills and competence for the workplace or further higher education. The HTQs are divided into Core and Specialist units, similar to the previous higher national certificate, and are and are assessed though a number of assignments.
Our program offers a variety of specialised units to cater to each student's unique interests and future career plans. These units prioritise the development of both employability skills and foundational knowledge, fostering confidence in a range of functions. Additionally, we equip our students with an understanding of culturally diverse organisations, cross-cultural issues, and diversity and values. This allows for flexible study options that meet local and specialised needs.

Many of our former students have attended prestigious universities, including the University of West England and Gloucestershire University, where they have pursued studies in Quantity Surveying, Management, and Architecture. As a part-time programme, you will study over two years, attending college one day per week. The course places a large demand on your personal time and you should, therefore, allow for approximately 8 hours of self-study each week.
