An optional placement year gives you the chance to apply your skills in a professional setting, gain industry experience and build valuable contacts before returning for your final year.
Final year
You’ll develop and direct a professional-quality short film, gaining hands-on experience in screenwriting, production management, directing actors and technical filmmaking. You’ll also complete an independent research project that demonstrates your analytical and research skills.
