Our BSc (Hons) Artificial Intelligence course is meticulously crafted to equip you with a strong academic foundation and industry-relevant skills. It will ensure you're poised for success in this rapidly expanding domain.
We’ll introduce you to projects, lots of practical learning and the platforms you’ll find in industry. Throughout our course you will also have an opportunity to be certified in AWS and Microsoft Azure, empowering you with essential industry-recognised skills.
We offer some amazing work placement opportunities too - with companies locally, nationally and abroad. You can spend a year working in industry before you graduate, helping to transform services and products through AI.
On the course, you’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of AI principles and their practical applications. The modules cover vital aspects of AI, including machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, and natural language processing (NLP).
You will immerse yourself in a hands-on learning environment where theoretical knowledge converges with practical applications. By using advanced software and IDEs like NetBeans, PyCharm, and Visual Studio Code, students delve into modern languages (such as Java, Python and C++) to develop AI algorithms and machine learning models for a wide range of applications.
We collaborate closely with industry giants like Microsoft and Amazon, providing experience in programming, developing, and deploying AI solutions for societal needs. Your employability is at the heart of the course.
On successful completion of study, we will issue the following award: BSc (Hons) Artificial Intelligence
