Combine academic study with work-based learning in this two year Sports Coaching Foundation Degree. Study at a local partner college, undertake work-based learning opportunities in both years and have the option to ‘top-up’ to a full bachelors degree with a third year of study at the University of Sunderland.
This Foundation Degree is taught at East Durham College. You can then 'top-up' to a full honours degree at the University of Sunderland.
Foundation Degrees differ from honours degrees because they are designed with the help of employers to reflect the needs of industry and commerce. They usually take two years to complete, compared to the three or four years of most honours degrees.
