Take the first step toward a successful management career with our HNC Level 4 in Leadership and Management. Designed to build a strong foundation in business, this Higher Technical Qualification (HTQ) introduces key functions such as human resources, marketing, operations and finance.

Through a blend of research, guided study, and real-world simulations, you’ll develop essential leadership skills, workplace competence, and the professional behaviours employers demand. Topics include the management of human resources, marketing processes and planning and core accounting principles equipping you with both subject-specific and transferable skills.

By the end of the course, you'll have a well-rounded understanding of leadership and management, ready for direct entry into employment or progression to the Level 5 HND.

Qualification requirements

UCAS Tariff - 64 points

You will be expected to have English and maths at GCSE grade 4 or above or a Level 2 Functional Skills certificate in English and maths may be considered. Applicants must also have achieved successful completion of a Level 3 qualification, equivalent to 64 UCAS points, such as A Levels or BTEC Level 3. Other related Level 3 qualifications such as VRQ, NVQ, or an Access to Higher Education Diploma or related work experience, would also be considered on a case-by-case basis. All applicants who meet the entry requirements will be invited to attend an interview to demonstrate suitability for the course.
