OVERVIEW
Aviation is a huge international industry, with key players from globally recognised airlines to busy airports. Airlines transported almost 4.9 billion passengers worldwide in 2024, while global cities, ‘mega-regions’ and emerging destinations are experiencing phenomenal growth in aviation development. New digital technologies are also being harnessed to create ‘smarter’ operations, conscious of the global environmental challenges society faces.
Developed with extensive input from industry experts and delivered by a team of lecturers with first-hand experience in the aviation sector, our Aviation and Airport Management degree will help your career ‘take off’. Using our state-of-the-art facilities, including our Aviation and Tourism Suite and industry-recognised software, you will gain a deep understanding of the aviation environment and practices through simulated and real-life industry projects, visiting airports, networking with experts and learning first-hand how the industry functions. You will have the opportunity to travel and go on a variety of residential visits both in the UK and abroad, while our range of optional modules will enable you to personalise and specialise your studies to match your interests and career aims.
