Healthcare professionals are essential to the functioning of health services, and this Certificate of Higher Education enables healthcare support staff to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to underpin effective practice. This healthcare practice certificate has one stage, comprising 120 credits.
You’ll study two 60-credit modules that introduce the study of health and social care alongside healthcare practice. You’ll explore care across a variety of settings, consider the factors influencing health in different service user groups, and develop the knowledge, understanding and practice-based skills needed to deliver person-centred, compassionate care.
