Our Foundation Year course can open up a range of potential creative possibilities. If you have the ambition and the ability to study with the School of Digital Arts, but don’t yet have the required qualifications to study the honours degree of your choice, this programme can bridge the gap.

After successful completion of this Foundation Year, you can progress on to the BSc (Hons) Web and User Experience Design degree.

Qualification requirements

UCAS Tariff - 72 - 80 points

Equivalent qualifications and combinations will be considered, including Extended Project when achieved at Grade C or above AS levels (or qualifications equivalent to AS level) are not accepted. Please contact the University directly if you are unsure whether you meet the minimum entry requirements for the course.

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016) - MMP

Access to HE Diploma

Pass Access to HE Diploma in a relevant subject with a minimum 74 UCAS Tariff points.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 24 points

IB Diploma with minimum 24 points overall or 72-80 UCAS Tariff points from Higher Level. If you plan to meet the Level 2 course requirements through your IB Diploma you will need to achieve Higher Level 4 or Standard Level 5 in English

T Level - P

GCSE grade D/3 in English Language or Level 2 Functional Skills English pass
