About the course
Business International Foundation Pathway: Certificate of Higher Education (CertHE) prepares you for success in your chosen undergraduate business degree while developing your English language and academic skills.
You will strengthen your speaking, listening, reading and writing skills alongside building core knowledge of business and professional practice. The course is designed to give you the confidence, subject understanding and academic foundation needed to progress onto a Roehampton business degree.
What you’ll study
You will develop English language proficiency, academic study skills and an understanding of key business concepts and environments.
Modules may include:
• English: London as Global City
• Data Analysis and Research Skills
• Fundamentals of Business
• Exploring Business Environments

How you’ll learn
Teaching takes place through lectures, seminars and workshops delivered by experienced academic staff.
You will have regular contact with an academic guidance tutor, alongside face-to-face and online careers and study support.
With teaching delivered over no more than three days per week, you will have flexibility to take on part-time work, placements or internships while studying.
How you’ll be assessed
Assessment methods include coursework, reports and online tests designed to reflect contemporary business practice and develop both theoretical and applied skills.
