This is one of several subject combinations available in our Diploma of Higher Education in Computing & IT and a second subject (W42). This diploma equips you with computing and statistical skills, including data analysis, probability, and modelling. You’ll build a foundation in programming and digital technologies while learning to interpret and work with data. On completion, you'll be ready for entry-level roles in data support, analytics, or technology, or you can progress to the BSc (Honours) to further develop advanced skills in computing and statistics.

This diploma of higher education has two stages, each comprising 120 credits:
Stage 1: You’ll study two 30-credit fundamental computing & IT modules, one 30-credit statistics module introducing statistical tools and quantitative methods, and one 30-credit mathematics module teaching the essential ideas and techniques that underpin university-level mathematics study.
Stage 2: You’ll choose one of four computing and IT focus areas from communications and networking, computer science, software development and web development, and study two 30-credit statistics modules that introduce modern applied statistics and explore fundamental statistical techniques.
