From banking systems to everyday apps, secure computing underpins modern life. Walbrook’s MSc Computer Science with Cyber Security is built to give you the technical depth of computer science while also developing specialist insight into how to protect data, networks and organisations in a connected world.
You’ll study a broad mix of subjects including software engineering, databases, networks, cloud computing and information systems. Alongside this, you’ll focus on cyber security through modules in secure programming, digital forensics and threat response. You’ll also explore how governance and ethics shape security practices in real organisations, and complete a research project that reflects your professional interests.
Delivered fully online, this degree is designed for graduates from non-computing backgrounds who want to move into high-impact computing roles with a focus on cyber security. And at Walbrook, you can choose study full-time over 1 year or part-time over 2 years, supported by a clear weekly structure, career guidance and learning materials created by experts with industry experience.
