Discover electronic and mechanical design, intelligent systems and robotics. Study with us and you’ll graduate ready for roles in a range of industries such as transport, manufacturing, space technologies and healthcare. Taking a break from the standard programme, you'll spend your industrial year gaining experience of how engineering theory is put into practice in industry.
Combining the theoretical and practical, this course will build your knowledge of electronic, mechanical and computer technologies and their applications. From digital electronics and the Internet of Things to augmented reality, software engineering and machine learning, you’ll explore key topics. Benefit from learning in our state-of-the-art building with a Design Centre and the Makerspace practical facility.
With our Integrated Design Projects, you can work alongside mechanical and civil engineers to develop designs for technologies that impact the world. Your industrial year will show you how to apply your knowledge, develop professional skills and build your networks. You’ll graduate with interdisciplinary experience for roles in various industries.
