Accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), this course gives you the opportunity to develop essential skills, knowledge and experience whilst completing a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management as part of your studies.

Human Resource Management (HRM) is a core component of all organisations. In your first year you’ll gain solid grounding in all aspects of business and management before specialising down the HRM route. In your second year you’ll be introduced to the theoretical foundations of HRM, balanced with the practical application of those topics. Successful completion of the second-year modules will allow you to join the professional body for HRM in the UK, the CIPD, as an Associate Member. In your final year, you’ll develop your understanding of strategic HRM - of benefit for a general management or specialist HR career.
You’ll draw on the expertise of lecturers with extensive professional credentials and research experience, as well as learn from inspiring industry guest speakers. You will also take advantage of the cutting-edge facilities at our state-of-the-art, Gloucestershire Business School.

There will also be the option to choose a year-long placement in industry. Examples of just a few of the renowned companies our students have worked for include Warner Media, IBM, Panasonic, GE Capital, GE Aviation, John Lewis and Partners and British Airways.
