Health and Care Practice (Nursing Associate)

Our nursing associate programme is designed around the core values of the NHS, helping you develop the practical skills, knowledge, and compassion needed to deliver safe and effective care. This course prepares you for the realities of modern healthcare, equipping you to support registered nurses and work confidently as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You’ll learn through a blend of classroom teaching and hands-on experience in clinical placements and simulated practice. During your simulation weeks, you’ll practice essential skills in a safe, supportive environment before applying them in real-world settings such as hospital wards, community care, and outpatient services.

Your studies will cover key areas including anatomy and physiology, infection prevention, medicines administration, and professional accountability. By the end of the programme, you’ll be ready to make a meaningful difference to patients’ lives.

• Outstanding facilities - We have well-equipped clinical skills laboratories complete with computerised SimMan manikins, used to demonstrate basic and challenging conditions and nursing interventions.
