You’ll immerse yourself in how business works, understanding topics like marketing, HR and business ethics, all while discovering what it takes to be successful as your own boss.
We put your future success at the heart of your learning. Meet and network with real-world entrepreneurs in our Business Lounge and collaborate with local SMEs to help them solve business challenges. Take the opportunity to secure a placement with companies including BMW, Disney and Sony and develop the real-world skills employers are looking for.
Gain real-world experience before you graduate with a placement year. Our Centre for Professional Success experts will assist you in applying for placements and internships.

This hands-on degree is designed to help you bring your ideas to life as an entrepreneur or business leader. With the support of our business network, many of our graduates have gone on to establish successful start-ups across a whole range of industries. For others, the opportunity to drive change in the business world gives them a chance to apply their entrepreneurial skills to global corporate organisations. Our graduates have found work with many of the UK’s most recognisable companies, including Santander, Red Bull, HSBC and Rolls Royce.

You'll be assessed through a combination of written, practical and coursework assessments throughout your degree.
Written assessment typically includes exams and multiple choice tests.
Practical is an assessment of your skills and competencies. This could include presentations, school experience, work experience or laboratory work.
Coursework typically includes essays, written assignments, dissertations, research projects or producing a portfolio of your work.
