Human Resource Management professionals who can motivate employees, drive performance and ensure organisational compliance are highly sought after. This programme with foundation year is designed to give you the ideal starting point if you want extra support before beginning degree‑level study.
During the foundation year, you’ll build confidence in academic writing, business concepts and digital skills, while strengthening your communication and problem‑solving abilities. You’ll explore introductory ideas in management and people practices, preparing you to progress smoothly into the full honours degree.
Once you move into the main programme, you’ll gain an understanding of organisational processes and people management practices that play a pivotal role in organisational performance and success. You’ll develop key skills such as communication, leadership, emotional intelligence and teamwork, alongside critical knowledge of employment law, talent management and organisational behaviour.

All our undergraduate business courses are available with:
• Placement Year - on the placement year option, you will not pay fees to the University and will earn a wage for the work that you do.
• Study Abroad – study with one of our partner Universities for a semester or a year.
