Course summary

This course offers practising midwives and other healthcare professionals the opportunity to explore and analyse the latest developments in midwifery knowledge and practice. You will be encouraged to evaluate your own clinical practice and appraise wider issues relevant to women and families in society.

The MSc/PgDip/PgCert Midwifery course is designed for qualified midwives and aims to advance your practice in clinical, management, leadership, and research roles. It also includes a dedicated pathway for those with or planning educational responsibilities.

You will:

  • Master contemporary midwifery practice and enhance your professional credibility.

  • Build personal confidence for career advancement.

  • Examine your practice and develop an evidence-based approach to care and service provision.
