Mathematics (Secondary) PGCE (Taught)

This course leads to the award of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) for the 11–16 age range which enables you to be employed as a qualified teacher in secondary schools in England, it is also recognised in Wales once registered with The Education Workforce Council (EWC). The course also offers enrichment opportunities to teach the 16–18 age phase.

If your degree was awarded more than five years ago, isn’t in maths but is closely related, or you have relevant professional experience but need to learn how to apply that to teaching, we offer Subject Knowledge Enhancement (SKE) courses.
