Our one-year PGDE courses allow you to qualify as a secondary school teacher in your specialist subject.

Course optionsA degree (Honours or Ordinary) validated by a university in the United Kingdom or a degree of an equivalent standard from an institution outside the United Kingdom. Degree must include at least 80 SCQF credits in English. 40 of these SCQF credits should come from at least one of the following subjects:
We also require SQA Higher English at Grade C or equivalent as well as SQA National 5 Mathematics or SQA National 5 Applications of Mathematics at grade C or equivalent.
