Assessment method

BTEC Higher Nationals in Computing are assessed primarily through coursework. All units are assessed via assignments set and marked by the teaching center, with one or more Pearson-set assignments integrated into the program. Students undertake practical projects, case studies, and research assignments rather than formal exams.

In summary, learners build portfolios of work (programming tasks, reports, etc.) demonstrating the required outcomes for each module.
