Our Engineering Foundation Year is designed for exactly that purpose. It could be that you have an interest in engineering, but never studied the subject. You may be looking for a career change. Or you may not have the usual qualifications for our degree subjects. All of those and more are reasons why students choose the Engineering Foundation Year at Huddersfield.

You’ll develop a strong foundational understanding in mathematical and engineering principles. In addition, you’ll build confidence in the practical application of key skills. Then, should you pass, you’ll have the opportunity to study one of many accredited courses at Huddersfield. Options include Information Technology, our Engineering suite of courses, Games Development and Quantity Surveying and Project Management.

The tuition fee for full-time, undergraduate students is £10,050.
