The graduate-entry Medicine course is only open to graduates in applied and experimental science, including bioscience, chemistry, experimental physics and engineering. Applications for the accelerated, graduate-entry medicine course must be made both through UCAS and direct to the University (on a supplementary form: ox.ac.uk/grad-med); this means applicants have two forms to complete. Please note that we cannot consider applications that are incomplete: you must complete both a UCAS application and an Oxford application form by the deadline in order to apply.

Oxford uses a range of evidence about applicants’ academic performance and potential, including personal statements, references, admissions tests (depending on the chosen course), and interview performance (for those shortlisted).
In some subjects, candidates are required to achieve A or A* grades in certain subjects.
A very small number of students are admitted to Oxford who don’t meet their offer conditions in non-essential subjects, and this is often as a result of exceptional circumstances.
