This course is only available for advanced entry into years 2 or 3.
If you wish to apply for year 1, you will need 6B28.

If you’re passionate about sport and think you’ve got what it takes for a future in the industry, this Sports Journalism degree can help you achieve your goals. You will gain live reporting experience at the highest level, including the chance to meet and interview top athletes and professional sportsmen and women. You’ll learn highly transferable media communication skills as well building an industry-relevant portfolio which will showcase your capabilities to future employers.

USW Cardiff is at the centre of Wales’s sporting community, just half a mile from the Principality Stadium in a city previously voted the European Capital of Sport. We have excellent contacts with sports companies locally and nationally, allowing students a range of experiences, from guest lectures to work experience, equipping you with the skills and knowledge to enter the world of sports journalism.
