Course summary

Biological sciences are more data driven than ever before and bioinformatics is now central to modern biological research. This programme will teach you how to analyse, integrate, visualise and manipulate large datasets, make new discoveries and reveal new insights in biological sciences.

  • Strong foundation for careers which have excellent employment prospects, such as in biotechnology, life sciences and pharmaceutical sectors

  • No programming experience needed – learn to manage data using industry-standard technologies such as Python and R
