Course summary

The degree integrates core areas from our geography and urban planning degrees and is designed to equip you with strong analytical skills and practical implementation abilities. You will learn about the social forces that shape our society and spaces we live in, as well as the practices of public planning and design. Your first year is professionally accredited by the Royal Town Planning Institute.

A level - ABB

Pearson BTEC Level 3 National Extended Diploma (first teaching from September 2016)

Applicants will be considered on an individual basis.

Access to HE Diploma - D: 30 credits M: 15 credits P: 0 credits

30 level 3 credits achieved at Distinction and 15 level 3 credits at Merit. GCSE Maths grade B or 6 or Pass in Level 2 Maths required.

Scottish Higher - AABBB

Combinations of Highers and Advanced Highers accepted. Scottish qualifications can be taken in more than one sitting.

International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme - 32 points

A minimum of 32 points with three subjects at Higher level grade 5 or above.

Extended Project

If you offer the Level 3 Extended Project Qualification in a topic relevant to the degree programme, we will vary our offer to recognise this.
