For the BA (Hons) Degree in Graphic Design with Photography at Warwickshire College and University Centre; you will cultivate an approach to design where the craft of assembling and manipulating images forms the basis for your practice encompassing photography's multiple environments.
You will develop a range of integral creative skills that will challenge and inspire you, providing the platform needed to launch a career in the graphic design and photography creative industries. This course will involve substantial practical based work, whilst accessing graphic design, photography, film and media studios, as well as a range of professional camera equipment. Theoretical studies will underpin technical and practical skills and allow you to apply your creativity by taking on briefs as a professional designer or photographer.
You will build links with industry by working on live briefs and will be encouraged and supported to seek specialist work experience. By combining live projects, core practical skills, tuition and critical thinking, this course endeavours to prepare you to contribute to industry as a professional worker and engage fully in the contemporary workplace. Working collaboratively, entrepreneurially and with confidence; our aim for you is to create a professional, industry ready portfolio of work that will stand out from the crowd.
