This MSc in Environmental Pollution Control provides excellent training for careers in air, water, and waste pollution management.
The ability to accurately monitor emissions to the environment and mitigate their harmful impacts sits at the heart of this master’s degree.

At Southampton, assessments are designed to equip you with the skills you need for success in your career.
Depending on the modules you choose, you'll be assessed through a combination of essays, reports, policy briefs, impact statements, environmental management (iso14001) audits, literature reviews, journal articles, presentations, practical and written examinations.
English language requirements: band C, IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 6.5 in all components.
Upper Second Class Honours degree in a science related subject from an approved University. IELTS 6.5 overall, with no less than 6.0 in any component.
Applications are assessed on an individual basis and we encourage candidates with alternative qualifications plus relevant experience in the environmental sector to apply.
