Course Modules

This natural sciences degree has three stages, each comprising 120 credits.

Stage 1: You’ll study two 60-credit modules, introducing you to many branches of science and exploring the ideas that underpin the study of science at a higher level.

Stage 2: You’ll study a 60-credit fundamental geology module introducing aspects of Earth science and geological field and practical skills, and choose 60 credits of complementary option modules.

Stage 3: You’ll study a 60-credit module examining societally and internationally relevant Earth science topics, choose a complementary 30-credit option module, and complete your degree with a 30-credit project module.
