LLM Insurance Law (Taught)

A Master of Laws (LLM) in Insurance Law is a postgraduate degree designed for law and non-law graduates to enhance their academic legal knowledge. Individuals and businesses take a number of risks every day, such as travelling from one place to another or importing and exporting goods. This course will give you the opportunity to explore the general principles of insurance law, as well as specialised types of contracts. You’ll learn about the the formation of insurance contracts and terms, issues of insurable interest, the duty of fair representation of the risk, the role of brokers and more.
