Course summary

This course looks at a mixture of economics, international business, and marketing. It provides a well-rounded and dynamic educational experience in business and marketing. The course takes 3 years to complete. It also includes an optional, funded internship. This gives graduates a solid foundation for various career paths.

The course develops a comprehensive awareness of marketing's important role in global business.

The curriculum has economics at its core, covering both micro and macroeconomics. It analyses the important external factors that influence global business. This includes globalisation and applied policy. These cover areas like:

  • Marketing Strategies to Doing Business in Scotland

  • Principles of Marketing Research

  • Branding

  • Marketing for Transitional Change

You will explore these topics from a broad variety of perspectives. The course also covers various general business modules. These cover a wide range of global business areas and topics.
