Course summary

This programme offers an integrated approach, which combines strategic and organisational studies with the technical and analytical rigour of accounting and finance. It develops future leaders who combine strong financial expertise with strategic management capabilities, enabling them to make responsible, data-driven, and sustainable decisions.

Year 1
You'll study 120 credits worth of compulsory modules, these may include:

  • Strategic Management

  • Understanding Entrepreneurship

  • Foundations of Economics 1: Theories​

  • Foundations of Economics 2: Business Applications

  • Introduction to Financial Accounting

  • Introduction to Management Accounting

  • Critical Thinking

  • Researching Our World and Lives

Year 2
You will study 90 credits worth of compulsory modules and 30 credits worth of optional modules.
Compulsory modules may include:

  • Management Accounting

  • Corporate Finance

  • Product Innovation and Management

  • Money, Banking and the Financial System

  • Financial Accounting

  • Goldsmiths Elective

Optional modules:
You will also study two optional 15-credit modules chosen from a list provided by the School of Creative Management

Year 3
You will study 90 credits of compulsory modules and choose 30 credits worth of optional modules, these may include:
Compulsory modules:

  • Understanding Financial Crises

  • Entrepreneurial Finance

  • Organisational behaviour

  • Financial Economics: Options, Futures and Derivatives

  • Spreadsheet Modelling for Business

  • Social Responsibilities of Management

Two optional 15-credit modules chosen from a list provided by the School of Creative Management
