INTRODUCTION
Welcome to BA (Hons) Games Design & Games Art (with Foundation Year) course at the College of Esports. This course allows you to explore the creative and visual side of game production. You will learn to design and develop characters, environments, and assets while mastering the principles of visual storytelling. Our curriculum blends creativity with technical skill, covering areas such as concept art, 3D modelling, texturing, and visual aesthetics. You’ll also collaborate with peers in design and development, gaining experience in the full production pipeline that mirrors real industry practice. Teaching modules are bolstered by the unique CoEs TRI-Curriculum approach, which enhances your social capital through the development of your talent, resilience, and identity in preparation for the exciting and international world of Esports.

From Level 4, you’ll explore multiple areas of art and design, from sketching initial concepts to producing fully realised 3D models and animations within completed games projects.
