GCSE/National 4/National 5
GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Maths and English or equivalent. Equivalent qualifications accepted are Functional Skills Level 2 in Maths and English and Adult Literacy Level 2 and Adult Numeracy Level 2.
2.2 (Hons) health related degree and relevant level study and work experience for required RPL.
RPL can be demonstrated by providing evidence of having undertaken and learned from a minimum of 800 hours relevant work as a health care assistant, support worker, voluntary or other caring responsibilities in relevant field plus evidence of study commensurate with level 7 that will meet year 1 learning outcomes. The intention to apply for recognition of prior learning must be made on application to the course and more details about RPL application and evidence requirements will be provided following successful completion of an interview.
