Anatomy is the scientific study of the structure of the human body related to its function and disease, and is considered the cornerstone of medical science, with advances in the field underpinning biomedical research and advances in medical practice.
Modern anatomy incorporates contemporary topics like embryology, pathology, reproduction, neuroscience, forensics, and bioengineering, allowing you to pursue a personalised degree pathway aligned to your interests and employability.

The University has developed state-of-the-art anatomy facilities where you will learn through human cadaveric material in spaces equipped with modern audio-visual equipment. You will also benefit from teaching resources developed in-house using our 3D scanner and printer, as well as interactive laboratory-based digital resources developed by our own staff and students. This degree will open an array of careers in healthcare, biomedical research, education, digital technologies and forensics. Our graduates gain employment in biomedical research, developing digital technologies, hospital and industry laboratories, clinical trials, allied health professions and publishing.
