When studying this course, you will:
Study within an interprofessional learning environment.
Combine theoretical learning (50%) with practical clinical experience (50%).
Work towards NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) registration via an accelerated route while gaining a highly regarded master's qualification.
Have the opportunity to go onto an international placement to experience care outside of the UK.
Assessment methods include a range of coursework assessments such as essays, reports, portfolios, presentations, OSCEs (Objective Structured Clinical Examinations), and examinations. The grades from formal summative assessments count towards your module mark.
The approximate percentage of the course assessed by coursework is as follows:
Year 1: 50% coursework, 50% practical;
Year 2: 50% coursework, 50% practical.
