Course summary

OVERVIEW

Successful advertising, whatever the brand, market or medium, combines creative thinking, commercial awareness and strategic insight. This course develops those qualities through the study of behavioural economics, ethics and sustainability, digital communications and data analysis, enabling you to create integrated campaign strategies across traditional and digital media.

Manchester offers an environment for this learning, with an infrastructure of employers ranging from global agencies and in-house teams to specialist digital and advertising media providers. World-class hubs such as MediaCityUK and The Sharp Project sit alongside a diverse community of global, national and independent creative talent, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Throughout your studies, you’ll work with real industry professionals as guest lecturers, campaign clients and placement employers, ensuring your learning is grounded in practice.

By graduation, you’ll be ready to enter the industry with confidence. Graduates pursue careers in advertising, digital media, marketing and public relations with leading agencies and in-house teams.
