Our degree in international business provides the skills and experience you need for a successful career in the global business environment.
This course covers the theory and practice of international business, exploring business management and organisational functions, international strategies, and different international business environments. We introduce you to the socio-economic implications of international business, looking at business ethics and corporate social responsibility, emerging markets, and economics.
Overall, this international business degree provides a critical understanding of the contemporary issues at work in the international business world. You’ll have the opportunity to spend a year abroad on the new Turing Scheme student exchange programme and/or to take an optional placement year.
Popular careers for international business graduates include banking and finance, IT, and logistics. Our graduates have found roles with companies such as JP Morgan, PwC, HP, and Ericsson.
This programme is accredited by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI). On successful completion of the 3 full-time years of this degree, eligible* students will automatically be awarded a CMI Diploma in Management & Leadership, and gain Foundation Chartered Manager (fCMgr) status. (*Please note that terms and conditions apply and certain students - because of their study choices or entry point - may NOT be eligible for CMI accreditation and/or the CMI Diploma.
