The core of your Bachelor of Computer Science for Business (BCSB) program gives you the foundational knowledge you need. Each term, you’ll apply what you’ve learned in your courses to a new core challenge. At the end of your studies, you’ll bring everything together in your capstone project, as a final demonstration of your abilities.

Course Modules

Your Core Modules at Hult
Your core modules at Hult are organized so that each builds on the last, allowing you to accumulate knowledge and skills as you progress through the program. Guided by professors and coaches with years of firsthand experience in their fields, you’ll graduate with a holistic skill set that gives you a competitive advantage in the workplace. You’ll earn 120 credits to complete your undergraduate degree, which typically takes between three and four years. Students from the U.K. can expect to graduate in three years.

Insight Engine: Launch a Consumer Trend Dashboard Challenge
Students harness real-time social media data to identify emerging consumer trends, analyze their business impact, and propose actionable strategies. It’s a hands-on challenge in data storytelling, market foresight, and driving business change.

Autonomous AI: Design & Deploy a GenAI Agent Challenge
Step into the future of artificial intelligence. In this challenge, students create and deploy a generative AI agent—such as a chatbot or virtual advisor—for a real-world application using cutting-edge tools like OpenAI and LangChain. Students gain experience in AI product development and real-world technology deployment. The challenge focuses on AI agents that optimize warehouse logistics, streamline operations, or support internal workflows.

Robotics & Quantum for the Real World Challenge
Merge innovation and intelligence in this multidisciplinary challenge. Teams develop prototypes for intelligent systems using simulated robotics and quantum-inspired algorithms to solve real-world logistics or automation problems. This challenge gives students the opportunity to explore next-generation applications in robotics and AI.
