Many industries rely on business analytics to optimise operations, improve customer experiences and gain a competitive edge. Skills in business analytics, data interpretation and strategic decision-making are in increasing demand.
You’ll learn from University of Sussex Business School faculty with strong industry links. On the course you’ll:
gain confidence to make strategic decisions using data-driven insights
learn to use business analytics tools, programming languages such as Python, data visualisation software such as Tableau and AI applications for businesses
get experience communicating complex analytical findings through visualisation tools, reports and presentations
collaborate in team-based projects, demonstrating strong problem-solving and communication skills.
We’ll also teach you about ethical and sustainable data practices. You’ll be able to assess the ethical, social and legal implications of business analytics in a global context.
The course includes a consultancy project. You’ll work with a business to analyse complex datasets, identify challenges and develop actionable insights. You’ll also learn through guest lectures and industry seminars.
