Course summary

The foundation year provides a route onto a degree if you don't have the qualifications or have not studied advanced level subjects sufficiently related to your course of choice. After successful completion of the foundation year in environmental science, you can progress on to BSc (Hons) Environmental Science.

Whether you want to understand how the material world works or explore the environmental issues shaping our world, the Department of Natural Sciences offers a range of degrees to enable you to learn about the areas and aspects that match your career ambitions.

Whichever route you take, you’ll have the skills and understanding you need to undertake further study or get started in your career.
