The Production Park Bursary 2026–27

Scholarship information

Purpose

Academy of Live Technology (ALT) is committed to breaking down barriers to education in the live events and creative industries, including those experienced by individuals with a diagnosed disability, whether that be physical or sensory impairments, learning difficulties (including specific learning difficulties, such as dyslexia), mental health problems or long-term illnesses. In our Access and Participation Plan (APP) 2025-29, ALT’s data analysis of previous academic years shows that within the higher education student lifecycle, continuation, completion and progression rates outcomes are lower for students with a known disability, learning difficulty or prior health condition than other students. This figure is further increased for students from areas of low university participation (POLAR4 Quintiles 1 or 2). This bursary is therefore focussed on support for students with a disability, learning difficulty or prior health condition that are also from areas of low university participation. The Production Park Bursary is named after the Academy’s parent company and Europe’s only live event and entertainment campus. Production Park advocates the importance of a diverse community in successful live events production and creative practice and has been built upon a strong work ethic and drive to advance the industry. It is in this spirit that the bursary has been named. Full details of the rationale and evaluation of our financial support can be found in our Access and Participation Plan 2025-29: Governance | Academy of Live Technology.
