Sylvanus Scholarship

The Sylvanus Trust was established in order to fund charities that are involved with the welfare of and the prevention of cruelty to animals.  This scholarship is kindly funded by funds given to the RVC to support their work through educating a new generation of vets from underrepresented groups.

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be an offer holder for Gateway.  Applicants who scored in the top 25 of all applicants throughout the application and interview process are shortlisted before those who meet the highest number of our widening participation criteria are finally shortlisted.  If there is more than one eligible offer holder at that point, they will be invited to complete a written submission which will then be judged, and the final awardee will be selected by our Scholarship Panel.
