Estranged Student Bursary
Scholarship information
The Estranged Student bursary aims to support students studying without the support of their parents (biological, step, or adoptive parents), due to a breakdown in those relationships.
The Estranged Student Bursary is a payment of £1,800 available for undergraduate students under the age of 25, with a ‘Home’ fee status who are confirmed as Estranged, which is confirmed through Student Finance England (or relevant awarding body). The bursary is available each year of an undergraduate degree. Bursary funds are provided to help with the additional costs associated with studying full-time including food, travel, bills, and study materials.
Please contact independent-estranged@herts.ac.uk for more information on applying for this bursary.
